Bro. Boyd is married to the former Barbara Smith. They have 3 children who all are married and 3 grandchildren.   Bro Boyd is a native of Ohatchee, Alabama.  His parents are Marvis Blair and the late Billy Blair.  He was brought up in Oak Bowery Baptist Church in Ohatchee under the pastorate of John Clark. Bro. Boyd also services as Pastor of Minerial Springs Baptist Church in Pell City Alabama.
